• RECOMMENDATION

  THAT the Environmental Advisory Committee adopt the agenda for July 22, 2021 as circulated.

ADOPTION OF MINUTES

• RECOMMENDATION

  THAT the Environmental Advisory Committee adopts the minutes of the March 18, 2021 meeting as circulated.

INTRODUCTIONS

Roundtable introductions to take place.

REVIEW OF COMMITTEE TERMS OF REFERENCE AND COMMITTEE MANDATE

Manager of Engineering and Municipal Operations to provide a presentation on the Committee Terms of Reference and Mandate.

2021-2022 WORK PLAN

The Committee to discuss potential items for the 2021-2022 Work Plan. This information will be provided to Council for their endorsement. Potential priority items suggested for the Work Plan include:

• Climate Action; and,
• Stormwater quality, infiltration and diversion (Committee can discuss the benefits of the Columbia diversion and the opportunity for quality improvement).

Chairperson to provide an update on the status of previous and outstanding recommendations to Council.

Corporate Administration provides the action-tracking document to the Committee for information. The attached spreadsheet template will be updated after each meeting and provided to members for information.

• RECOMMENDATION

  THAT the Environmental Advisory Committee approves the following schedule of meetings (taking place from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.) as follows:

  • July 22, 2021;
  • September 23, 2021;
  • October 28, 2021; and,
  • November 25, 2021.
