DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE ADMINISTRATION READS A STATEMENT REGARDING THE PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING

BYLAW NO: 2440 - White Rock Zoning Bylaw, 2012, No. 2000, Amendment (RS -2 - 877 Kent Street) Bylaw, 2022, No. 2440

CIVIC ADDRESS: 877 Kent Street

PURPOSE: Bylaw 2440 proposes to rezone the subject property from ‘RT-1 Two Unit Residential Zone’ to ‘RS-2 One-Unit (Small Lot) Residential Zone’. The intent is to permit the subdivision of the 20.12 metre wide lot into two 10.06 metre wide lots to construct two new single-family dwellings.

DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE ADMINISTRATION ADVISES HOW THIS PUBLIC HEARING HAS BEEN PUBLICIZED

• Notice was published in the January 19 and 26 editions of the Peace Arch News.
• 81 notices were mailed to owners and occupants within 100 meters of the subject property.
• A copy of the notice was placed on the public notice posting board on January 17, 2023.

THE CHAIRPERSON INVITES THE DIRECTOR OF PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES TO PRESENT THE PROPOSED BYLAW

As of 8:30 a.m. on January 25, 2023 there have been no submissions.

Note: Submissions received between 8:30 a.m. on January 25, 2023 and 12:00 p.m. (noon), January 30, 2023 will be presented "On Table" at the Public Hearing.
