COMMUNITY HUB DISCUSSION - ARTS AND CULTURE NEEDS

 

The Community Hub Senior Project Manager to attend to discuss arts and culture needs for consideration in the community hub project.

MACCAUD PARK IMPROVEMENTS

 

Committee to discuss opportunities for placemaking improvements at Maccaud Park.

PARK ACTIVATION

 

Committee to discuss ideas to improve activation and community engagement in the City's parks, including consideration of forming a working group to research this topic further.

Committee to discuss the Communities in Bloom program.

MURAL CONCEPT DESIGN REVIEW

 

The Manager of Cultural Development to present concept designs for two (2) mural installations (to be located at the West Parkade and at the Balsam Street Comfort Station), for the Committee's review and endorsement.

Staff to provide an update regarding relevant developments and/or events happening in the Recreation and Culture department.

2025 MEETING SCHEDULE

 

The following meeting schedule was previously approved by the Committee and is provided for information purposes:

  • June 11, 2025;
  • July 9, 2025;
  • September 10, 2025;
  • October 8, 2025; and,
  • November 12, 2025.

All meetings are scheduled to take place in the Council Chambers at White Rock Community Centre from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
